Stereophile’s Favorite System at AXPONA & LA Audio Show

ANTICABLES recently teamed up in two separate listening rooms at both AXPONA 17 and at LAAS 17. This newsletter will highlight one of those two teams, and we will cover our other room with Spatial Audio and Vinnie Rossi in an upcoming newsletter.

We would like to thank Jana for her kind words and are honored to be part of the system she declared her, “favorite of the whole show.” It is amazing how good reasonable priced components can sound, when highly dynamic, resolving, neutral, and transparent cabling is used.

“Throughout the entire show weekend, I had encountered many sonically and aesthetically pleasing rooms—with prices ranging from the affordable to the aspirational—that would have satisfied me for years on end. But this…   this was something else. In the moment, and in thoughtful retrospect, this system was my favorite of the whole show.”

LAAS 2017

ANTICABLES  /  Well Pleased AV  /  Rethm Speakers  /  Room 304

“And we’re back to the Well Pleased Audio Vida room that I raved about upon hearing first at Axpona just a month ago. I was overjoyed to see the Rethm Bhaava speakers ($3750) again, paired with a Qualiton A20i integrated amplifier ($4500), an Aqua La Scala Mk II Optologic DAC ($7000), and an Innuos Zenith Mk II server ($3400) with ANTICABLES throughout.”

“The soundstage was as I remembered: out of body, room filling, and seamless through the frequencies. I left the room pleased that my sonic impressions had not changed”
