Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our products, shipping, and support.
What makes ANTICABLES different from other audio cables?
ANTICABLES use solid-core conductors and minimal insulation to reduce signal distortion. This simple design helps preserve timing, detail, and clarity in your audio system.
Why does ANTICABLES use solid-core wire?
Solid-core conductors eliminate the microscopic junctions found in stranded cables, allowing the signal to travel more directly and consistently through the wire.
Why is the insulation so thin?
Most cables use thick plastic insulation that can store electrical energy and introduce distortion. ANTICABLES use a very thin coating so air becomes the primary dielectric, reducing this effect.
Do ANTICABLES require a break-in period?
Yes. Speaker cables typically settle after about 100 hours of use, while interconnects may take slightly longer due to lower signal levels.
Can I use different cable lengths in my system?
Yes. ANTICABLES can be used in unequal lengths without noticeable issues. For multi-channel systems, it is best to keep channels within roughly a 2:1 length ratio.
What do the different ANTICABLES levels mean?
Each level represents a step up in materials and performance. Higher levels typically use more refined conductors and connectors, offering greater resolution and dynamic capability.
Should I bi-wire my speakers?
Bi-wiring can improve performance in some systems, but it depends on the speaker design. If you do not bi-wire, replacing factory jumpers with high-quality copper jumpers can still improve performance.
Do ANTICABLES ship internationally?
Yes. ANTICABLES are used worldwide and can be shipped internationally via priority mail.
