[tab name='OVERVIEW']

The Level 3.1 Speaker Wires are a stereo set of heavy 9 gauge built speaker wires which will enable single wiring a pair of speakers. All four wires are woven together which makes a pair of nice looking, easy to manage wire runs. These are essentially a doubled-up build of our Level 2.1 Speaker Wires.

Reviewer Martin Appel of Audiophilia said of the Level 3 Speaker Wires:

"I was immediately struck by the speed and neutrality these cables exhibited along with a transparency that was vibrant and exciting. Musical timbre is not compromised and neither are dynamics. These are two critical areas that many manufacturers get wrong but these inexpensive AntiCables wires hit the proverbial nail on the head. The full power of the orchestra is there for the taking. For less than $270.00 you can have a nine foot pair ready to go."

"Speltz has created an enormous opportunity for budding audiophiles, as well as the more experienced, to improve their sound systems at a price that will delight. There are no better bargains in all of hi-end audio."

"In the final analysis, I have come to the same conclusions that my colleague Karl Sigman reached and feel very comfortable recommending them for a wide variety of high end systems."

Reviewer Karl Sigman of Audiophilia said of the Level 3 Speaker Wires:

"Even before a proper burn in (about 100 hours recommended), the bass had noticeably more punch and articulation than the Level 2."

"After burn in, they opened up admirably, adding more detail to the mid and high range too."

"They were exceptionally neutral and transparent. Very nice indeed."

"Acoustic music in particular benefited; delightful harmonic examples include..."

"...if you are looking for cables that will adorn your living space, or you have an unlimited budget, then you might wish to look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you are looking for a bare-bones no nonsense solution for obtaining fine audiophile quality sound at a low price, then you should certainly check these out."

"Highly recommended."

Reviewer Matej Isak of Mono & Stereo said of the Level 3 Speaker Wires:

"...I can't imagine finding a better solution for any system, be it entry level or a even a truly exceptional one. They can be easily paired with top quality electronics and speakers and might give its owner just enough satisfaction to provide years of musical enjoyment and let him forget the cabling madness."

"...these cables sound phenomenal. Yes, they can compete with expensive “heavy wires...”

"...excellent insight into more complex music material..."

"The separation of the individual instruments is very good and the virtual soundstage width, height and depth are likewise on the same level."

"The front to back layering is above average and instruments and voices are sharply defined in their size and location."

"The resolution across the whole spectrum is excellent and there are no discontinuities or noticeable peaks in any frequency region."

"The music reproduction on the whole seems coherent and involving."

"...served the music content very well, proving to be adept at transferring the emotional content with no problem."

"The percussion sounded very direct and immediate... giving an impression of being in the same room with the performers."

"...did a commendable job with this very difficult music material. The busy mixes were handled exceedingly well and the characteristic tonal color of the brass instruments was preserved..."

"...provided a very intimate sonic picture that was a joy to listen to. It gave a smooth, open and inviting sound that ensured lengthy, stress-less listening sessions."

In Conclusion:

"They surpass many speaker cables costing much more and in my view will hardly disappoint anyone seeking great performing speaker cables which don`t cost an arm and a leg. For the price they are truly EXCEPTIONAL performers worthy of the Mono & Stereo Best Buy award."

BEST IN SHOW: VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY.

July 7, 2016 by Admin

ANTICABLES was honored to get the attention of Chris Martens, who is the Publisher of the excellent publication Hi-Fi+, at T.H.E. Show Newport. Chris recognized the sound in our Listening Room, and the less-is-more concept we were displaying at our booth, with his “Best in Show” nod, both for our ANTICABLES products, and Listening Room at the show.

Chris said our Room 404 was “One system that strongly emphasized value for money”. We couldn’t agree more. Thank you Chris!

[tab name='BI-WIRE OPTIONS']

Explore Bi-Wire Options:

Since getting heavy 9 gauge wire (two #12 gauge

ANTICABLES wires) into each terminal is the physical limit of essentially any spade or banana plug, the way to achieve bi-wiring with the Level 3.1 Speaker Wires is to simply buy two single wired sets.

Since the sonic benefit of the Level 3.1 Speaker Wires is in the bass and midrange, if your Bi-Wireable speakers are a two-way design (mid/woofer & tweeter), the Level 2.1

ANTICABLES Speaker Wire can be used for the highs without sonic compromise. Order a Level 3.1 set for the bass/midrange and connect to the speaker's lower binding posts, and also order a Level 2.1 (or better yet, Level 5) set for the tweeter and connect to the speaker's upper binding posts.

If your Bi-Wireable speakers are a three-way design (woofer, midrange, & tweeter), to get best sound, order two stereo sets of Level 3.1 speaker wires. Or better yet, a set of Level 3.1 for the woofers, and set of Level 5 for the mid/highs.

TIP: If your amplifier's binding posts support both spades and bananas, order one set with spades on the amplifier ends, and the other stereo set with bananas on the amplifier ends. This will more easily facilitate getting two terminations into each binding post.
