Introducing our NEW Level 5.3 XLR Interconnects

[tab name='OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS']

Level 5.3 XLR Interconnects (starting at $800/pair): A stereo pair of balanced ANTICABLES Interconnects which will enable line-level analog connections between components. Low level phono cable use is also possible with our "Additional Shielding" option.

These new top-level XLR Interconnects are an upgrade over our excellent Level 4.3 XLR ICs due to these improvements.

1) ETI's Kryo XLR plugs:

  • Factory Cryogenically Treated
  • Silver plated Tellurium Copper contacts that are CNC machined hollow to reduce eddy current blur and increase resolution
  • Even better looking

2) We have also doubled-up on both the (+) and (-) ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold alloy signal wires which provides:

  • Greater bass weight and dynamic authority
  • Increased musical body without any loss of detail or resolution
  • Greater harmonic beauty
  • Voices sound more real and present
  • Hear more of a string instrument's wooden body (as you would in person)

These new Level 5.3 interconnects still use our best sounding ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold alloy signal wire which has earned many awards in other products. Adding a small amount of Gold (as an alloy, not a plating), eliminates the sonic signatures of Silver, leaving only the music to be heard.

When we combine the excellent sounding ETI Kryo XLR plugs along with doubled-up runs of the best sounding interconnect wire we have ever heard (our ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold alloy signal wire), you get a world-class interconnect that has been professionally reviewed to out perform $10,000 competitors. We are confident they stand up against the best available; and will do so for hundreds or thousands of dollars less.

Customers absolutely love the sound of our ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold signal wire. They are known as the interconnects to beat. We are confident you will enjoy them!

Highlights:

  • ETI's excellent sounding, cryogenically treated Kryo XLR plugs
  • Heavy duty shielding
  • Already earned AudioKey Review's "High Nines" award
  • Starts at only $800/pair
  • 30 day risk free trial
  • Fully Balanced design
  • Doubled-up build of ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold alloy signal conductors
  • Achieve the "Schroeder Method" without doubling your cost buying two pairs and needing sound robbing "Y" connectors
  • Optional 150 hour Burn-in treatment ($25 and additional one week lead time)
  • Optional full cable Cryo & Burn-in treatment ($125 and additional week or two lead time)
  • Made in USA (one pair at a time in Lake Elmo MN)

Design Concept:

Typical interconnect cables usually have a signal wire surrounded with a thick plastic dielectric material, which is then surrounded by the ground conductor to shield it from EMI/RFI noise, and then more plastic dielectric material. This typical approach has the usual drawbacks of accumulating a lot of dielectric effect distortion, and an accumulation of shunting capacitance.

The ANTICABLES Analog XLR Interconnects use a different approach. Since air is a near perfect dielectric, no extra insulation dielectric material (beyond the thin white and red coating) is used, and the wires are suspended in free air. Eliminating dielectric effect distortion is what allows these interconnects to sound like music, (not a cable).

Additional Features:

  • No thick plastic jacketing, which adds dielectric effect distortion and smears the audio signal
  • Sound less like a cable and more like real music than cables costing many times more (see Testimonials)

Sound Improvements over Level 4.3 Interconnects:

  • The Silver plated Tellurium Copper contacts are CNC machined hollow to reduce eddy current and are more resolving of low level details that make the music sound more live and real
  • Doubling-up the signal wires provides all the benefits of the "Schroeder Method" (running two pairs of ICs using two sets of "Y" connectors), without the down sides of doubling your cost to buy two pairs, plus losing sound quality running through two sets of "Y" connectors.
  • Those benefits include: greater bass weight and dynamic authority / increased musical body without any loss of detail or resolution / greater harmonic beauty / voices sound more real and present / hear more of a string instrument's wooden body
