How to Choose ANTICABLES
Start with the connection you need, then choose the level, length, and termination that fit your system.
1. Choose the connection
Interconnects connect source components, preamps, DACs, and amplifiers. Speaker wires connect your amplifier to your speakers. Power cords connect components to AC power. ZERO Autoformers are for systems where amplifier and speaker impedance matching is part of the setup.
2. Choose the level
ANTICABLES levels represent steps in materials and construction. Higher levels generally use more refined conductors and connectors. The underlying design philosophy stays the same across the line: solid-core conductors, minimal insulation, and straightforward construction.
3. Choose the configuration
Once you know the product and level, choose the connection type, length, and termination that match your equipment. Unequal cable lengths can be used when needed; for multi-channel systems, ANTICABLES recommends keeping channels within roughly a 2:1 length ratio.
4. Match the product to the system
For interconnects, match RCA, XLR, USB, or digital connections to the components you are connecting. For speaker wires, choose the termination and length that fit your amplifier and speakers. For power cords, start with the component you want to upgrade. For ZERO Autoformers, system matching is especially important because the amplifier and speaker combination determines the appropriate application.
